Lazy Meadow

It has been wonderfully warm the past few days. During the hottest part of the day the girls snooze in the house. But as the sun sinks across the valley and the cool breezes come up, we all gravitate to the yard to enjoy the last warming rays.

Meadow makes an especially appealing sunbather.
I took these photos as I was sitting in a chair below the hummingbird feeder, waiting to get some shots of them feeding for an earlier post. Meadow was puzzled as to why I was suddenly finding the feeder so intriguing, wondering if she was missing something.

She apparently didn't feel it worth getting up to investigate.
