Town

Yes, I'm happiest when in the forest with a dog or three. But when I'm in Idaho, I also spend a little time in town. Groceries must be bought. I visit with friends. Errands are run.

After walking through Ponderosa State Park with Finn, Linda and her dog Wally, I stop briefly on my way home to enjoy a different sunset.

The boats in the marina will soon be hauled out of the water and stored elsewhere for the winter. The lake will freeze over, and - if the ice is thick enough - this portion close to shore will become an extension of the park and McCall's winter downtown scene.
