What's in a name?

Finn, on Tiger Mountain.

I'm often asked about Finn's name. Is it short for Finnegan? No. His full name is Finn MacCool. It comes from Celtic mythology. I chose it because one defining characteristic of the minor god Finn MacCool is: Delights in running after adventure with dogged persistence.

Perfect, for a trail running redheaded dog.

How apropos that one of our favorite trails to run at Tiger Mountain is called...Adventure Trail.
