New Digs

Our home in Idaho had concrete floors. The rental house in Bellevue was a mix of concrete, parquet, and old, thin carpeting. The girls inevitably choose hard surfaces to sleep on (which may contribute to Maia's hygromas). Finn likes the cushy surface; if the flooring in hard, he'll sleep on a throw rug if possible.

Out new home is mostly carpeted. Finn loves it. Soft snoozing surfaces, and better traction for chasing toys.

Maia still seeks the hard, cool surfaces. In the new house, she's limited to the small entry area or...

...the small kitchen floor. Here - in anticipation of dinner - all three dogs took up so much of the kitchen floor space that there was no room left for me!

Seems I spend much of my time in this new house high-stepping over sleeping dogs!
