On April 4th, Finn and I ran at Cougar Mountain with our regular trail running companion Michael L. At the lower elevations, the trails were bare. But it didn't take long for us to find a dusting of snow. It was the prefect reminder that we're transitioning from winter to spring.
Michael likes to take the lead. Finn used to clip Michael's heels, but as the two have run more regularly together, they've found a way to cooperate and share the trail.
A little sun, a dusting of snow, trails and forest....it's all good.
Pausing to catch our breath, enjoy Mother Nature.
How lucky are we to be able to do this?
Michael is a terrific and patient trail companion. Finn and I appreciate his friendship.
