A Great Day - Part I

A friend, Kim, and her Whippet, Easy, joined the girls and me on a hike in the Mud Creek area. We walked for two hours on a mostly cool, partly sunny morning.

I can't even imagine how much ground Easy covered. He's FAST. And willing to roam far away from Kim.

He's wearing one of the VizVests I ordered; one of the Mediums that was mistakenly sent to me. I was told to keep them, so I gave them to Kim to use on Easy and her two Weimaraners.

Because we didn't start until 10:30 AM and the sun was peeking through some clouds, it warmed up enough that my girls did more wading than I've seen them do in quite some time.

All dogs and both humans had a wonderful Saturday morning in the woods, never seeing another person or dog.
