Playtime

We started our hike/run this morning at the snowmobile parking lot. We went up the steep shortcut the snowmobilers create on this hillside every year.

Both girls were in a playful mood right from the start, as these photos show.

And, as often happens, one or both with catch a scent that puts an immediate stop to the play. Smell this! In the fourth photo, Maia's got her nose all the way in an animal print in the snow.

The last photo is yet another shot of the view from the top of this steep hill.
