Softening Beds





The girls enjoy the fresh snow's effect on their outdoor snoozing spots.

A soft new layer on top of the surface melted and harded by their body warmth - always welcome, always greeted with enthusiasm and joy.

Maia went for the high ground, creating a new spot for herself by cicling a few times to tramp down the latest layer. She can easily survey the goings-on in the neighborhood from her perch.

Meadow went for the usual spot, glad for the extra cushion.

This morning brought a mix of fog and sun, making the background to Meadow's portrait even more beautiful than usual.

Dogs know: the best way to spend a lazy Saturday morning is to find a comfortable spot with good visibility from which to observe what the neighbors are up to.

I wonder - do dogs gossip about their neighbors?
